Most are our own products, one is client work, and one is a private tool we run for a single team. For each, you'll find what it does, where it runs, whether it's out yet, and what we built behind the screen.

Notes app and sync platform

Mydeas

Notes that stay in step on every device, even with more than one person editing.

Mydeas is a notes app with notebooks, nested tags, and a full editor for tables, task lists, and attachments. Notes sync to every device you use, and people you share with can edit the same note at the same time and see each other's changes as they happen. It works offline, keeps every note's history, and imports from Evernote and Notion. AI features are off until you turn them on.

What it does

  • Capture it in seconds: share to Mydeas from any other app, or start a note from the home-screen widget.
  • Organize and find: notebooks, tags that nest inside other tags, searches you can save and reuse, and backlinks that show which notes point at the one you're reading.
  • Write real notes: headings, task lists with due dates, tables, code blocks, and photo, video, audio, and PDF attachments, plus camera scans whose text becomes searchable.
  • Edit together, live: share a note or a whole notebook, see who else is in it, leave comments, and assign tasks.
  • Remember the task: set a reminder on a task and have it show up on your Google Calendar as well.
  • Keep working offline: edits are stored on the device and merge when you're back online, and the web app opens and works with no connection too.
  • Leave any time: export any note as Markdown or HTML, or your whole account as one ZIP file, on any plan.

What we built

  • An iPhone and Android app from one codebase, with the same editor as the web app.
  • The web app, plus the public site at mydeasapp.com with its pricing, privacy, and terms pages.
  • A sync server that merges edits from several people and devices without losing anyone's changes.
  • An encrypted offline cache on the device, so notes open without a connection.
  • A signed and notarized Mac app, released as a direct download from mydeasapp.com.
  • Offline support in the web app, so it opens and keeps working with no connection.
  • The API server, including a self-serve API and webhooks for people who want to connect other tools.
  • Importers for Evernote and Notion exports, and full-account export.
  • Subscription billing on the web, and an internal admin dashboard for accounts, usage, and service health.
  • An opt-in AI feature that cleans up, summarizes, or edits one note at a time, and is off by default for every account.

BarCrawl helps people find the right bar nearby, right now. It shows bars on a live map with hours, ratings, and photos, plus live cams, menus, and tonight's events from participating bars. Friends can message each other to plan the night. Bar owners have their own portal to claim a listing, post events, and pay for the features they want, and bands and DJs have a portal of their own for the nights they're playing.

What it does

  • See what's nearby: a map and list of bars around you, with hours, ratings, price level, photos, and filters.
  • Look before you go: live cams and menus from participating bars, and community photos on bar pages.
  • Know what's on tonight: events, specials, news, and video posts from nearby bars in a Feed and an Events calendar, along with the week's sports schedules.
  • Hear who's playing: bands and DJs post their own events, so a show carries the act's name on it.
  • Plan the whole night: name a crawl, pick the bars and put them in order, then open the route in your phone's maps app. Share it with friends, and each of them can save their own copy.
  • Plan with friends: add friends, message them, and save favorite spots.
  • Stay safe: 21 and over only, with report and block available on people, messages, photos, posts, and ads.

What we built

  • One app for iPhone and Android, with sign in by email, Apple, or Google.
  • The API server and database behind it, with nearby search that stores bar details so the map loads quickly.
  • Live messaging, so a friend's message shows up without refreshing, plus push notifications that open the right screen.
  • A bar-owner portal at portal.gobarcrawl.com for listings, menus, events, and ad campaigns.
  • Subscription tiers and payments for bar owners, handled through Stripe.
  • A second kind of paying customer alongside bars: bands and DJs claim a profile in their own portal at entertainer.gobarcrawl.com and post their events for $19 a month.
  • Local ads that bars can target by area, without storing a history of anyone's exact location.
  • A review queue for community photos, with location data removed before a photo goes live.
  • An admin dashboard for staff to manage bars, users, reports, and billing.

TableHop shows the restaurants around you on a list and a map, with hours, ratings, price, photos, and how far away each one is. Participating restaurants can add menus, daily specials, a live camera, and a direct message line, so you can see what you are walking into before you go. A feed and a calendar carry tonight's specials and events. Restaurant owners claim and run their own listing in a separate portal.

What it does

  • See what's nearby: a list and a map of restaurants around you, with hours, ratings, price, photos, and distance.

Midwest Operations

One system for the office, the crew in the truck, and the leads from the website.

Midwest Operations is the operating system we built for Midwest Equipment Dock and Lift Services, a dock and lift service company in Northeast Wisconsin. Office staff use a web app to run clients, jobs, scheduling, equipment, marketing, and billing status. Field techs use a phone app to work through their route, update each job, and message the office. Estimate requests from the company's website land in the same system as leads.

What it does

  • Run the office from one place: clients, jobs, documents, equipment, notes, and photos in a single web app.
  • Plan the week: a monthly scheduling calendar with time-tracking summaries for staff.
  • Move a job from the phone: office staff see the month on a job calendar, open a day to check who is assigned, and reassign a tech or shift a job to another date without opening the web app.
  • Give the crew their route: techs see assigned stops, get directions, call or email the customer, and find the nearest assigned job.
  • Close out jobs on site: quick status and payment updates, checklists, field notes, and job-site photos.
  • Turn website visitors into leads: estimate requests from the website, with up to five photos, arrive in the office app for follow-up.
  • Keep marketing in-house: build email lists, send HTML email campaigns, and schedule Facebook posts.

What we built

  • The office web app, with dashboards for jobs, scheduling, clients, marketing, receivables, and reports.
  • The Android field app for techs, published on Google Play.
  • The API that both apps share, with office and field staff each seeing only the screens meant for them.
  • The estimate request form on midwestdockandlift.com, connected straight to the office app.
  • Reports on completed jobs, staff sign-ins, and website page views.
  • A Gmail inbox connection and Facebook post scheduling inside the office app.
  • Spreadsheet import and export, so existing client records could be brought in without retyping.

Private research and account platform

Hospitality Intelligence Radar

Every fact knows where it came from.

Hospitality Intelligence Radar is a private tool for a team that sells hotel renovation work. It tracks the largest hotel companies in North America, the people inside them who buy that work, and dated signs that a renovation is coming. Every value on screen records the page it came from, when it was checked, and how strong that evidence is. Research runs on its own overnight, and a separate step re-checks each finding against the source before it is saved. It is used behind a sign-in by an invited group, with an iPhone app in development for reading and acting between meetings.

What it does

  • Rank by what's happening: accounts sorted by dated buying signals, with how recent the newest one is.
  • Explain why now: a short brief on each account where every line links to the page it came from.
  • Show the week's calls: the accounts worth a call, with the buyer and how well their contact details are evidenced.
  • Say what changed: a personal digest of new signals since the last visit, with a way to mark it seen.
  • Show how a score was reached: export the reasoning behind a score as a printable page and a CSV file, for one account or the whole radar.
  • Keep the data honest: queues for verification, duplicates, and near-misses that clear themselves once the record is fixed.

What we built

  • The research platform and database, with every claim stored next to its source page and date.
  • A web workbench of about two dozen screens for finding accounts, preparing outreach, and fixing data.
  • A native iPhone app with its own sign-in and push alerts that never name a person.
  • Twelve watchers that run unattended, following leadership changes, filings, job postings, public bids, and news.
  • Research that reads public pages with AI to propose findings, and a second step that rejects anything the page does not support.
  • Sign-in with Google or Apple, an invite list, and roles that decide who can approve what.
  • Consent and readiness checks that run again at export, with every refusal recorded.
  • Backups checked by restoring them, health checks, and alerts when a job stops running.

CleanRecord.co asks people-search sites and data brokers to take a person's listing down, and shows them what was asked and what came back. Someone on the team files each request by hand, and every request leaves a receipt you can download. The service publishes its whole research register, including the sites it decided it cannot reach and the reason why. It is sold to individuals and households, and seat pricing for agencies and courts is published so an approval can start.

What it does

  • Files the requests for you: a removal request is opened at every site the plan covers, and the ones that go unanswered get chased.
  • Shows its work: every request produces a record of what was sent, when, and what the site said back, downloadable as a PDF.
  • Free to look first: a scan shows where a name turns up, and a breach check says whether an email address appears in a known breach, with no account needed.
  • Permission you can take back: the exact authorisation you agreed to is stored, and you can read it, download it, or withdraw it at any time.
  • A register anyone can read: every site researched is listed, including the ones ruled out, each with a dated reason and a source.
  • More than removals: data requests, filings for judges and officers, deceased-relative requests, and mail opt-outs, depending on the plan.

What we built

  • One web app carrying the public site, the customer dashboard, and the staff console.
  • An API, a background worker, and a job queue, with monitoring, alerts, and nightly backups.
  • A removal catalogue built from the California data broker register and checked against each company's own page, so every number the site shows is counted rather than typed.
  • A supervisor that re-queues stale requests, retries anything held for review, and publishes service metrics.
  • Subscription billing through Stripe, for one person or a household of four.
  • An organisation model that limits what an employer can see about someone it pays for to a short, written list of fields.
  • One source for every retention period, a sweep that enforces it, and a published policy that prints the same numbers.
  • Tests that fail the build when the marketing copy claims something the service cannot back.

Guess the five-letter word in six tries, as many rounds as you like.

FHWordGuess is a five-letter word puzzle for iPhone and iPad. Each guess shows which letters are in the right spot, which are in the word but misplaced, and which aren't in it at all. There's no daily wait, so you can play as many rounds as you want. It has no ads and no tracking, and Game Center leaderboards are there if you want them.

What it does

  • Play without waiting: unlimited rounds, with no repeat words among your recent games.
  • Raise the stakes: Hard Mode makes every later guess use the hints you've already found.
  • Track your progress: games played, win rate, current and best streaks, and a chart of how many guesses you take.
  • Compare if you want to: optional Game Center leaderboards for streak and wins, plus seven achievements.
  • Share without spoilers: send your result as an emoji grid that doesn't give away the word.
  • Readable for everyone: each tile carries a shape as well as a color, with support for Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, and dark mode.

What we built

  • A native SwiftUI app with no ads, no tracking, and no analytics.
  • Game rules kept separate from the screens, so they're covered by automated tests.
  • Stats and recent words stored on the device and synced through the player's own iCloud account.

FHShot puts screen capture one click away in the Mac menu bar, or on a keyboard shortcut you choose. Capture the full screen, a selected area, or a single window, and every shot is saved as a PNG in the folder you choose. It uses the screenshot engine built into macOS, so captures match the system's own. It has no account, no analytics, and no network access.

What it does

  • Always within reach: a camera icon in the menu bar, one click from any app.
  • Three capture modes: full screen, a selection, or a single window, with a five-second delay when you need one.
  • Your own keyboard shortcuts: give any capture mode a global shortcut and use it from any app.
  • Saved where you want: pick a folder once and FHShot remembers it, naming each shot the way macOS names its own.
  • Ready to use right away: copy each shot to the clipboard as it saves, or drag one of the last five straight from the menu bar into an email or document.

FHDarts works with GRANBOARD dartboards over Bluetooth, so every dart you throw shows up on screen by itself. It scores 01 games and Cricket with legs and sets, calls each score out loud, and suggests checkouts. Practice drills and detailed stats show whether your game is improving. It can also be scored by hand without a board.

What it does

  • Match play: 301, 501, 701, and 901 with double in and double out, plus Cricket, for up to eight players.
  • A spoken caller: every score announced, along with what you need to finish.
  • Practice drills: Bob's 27, Around the Clock, Shanghai, and Count-Up, each with your personal best.
  • Play on your own: a computer opponent at five levels, plus handicaps so uneven players get a fair game.
  • Real numbers: 3-dart average, checkout rate, 180s, form over time, and a map of where your darts land.
  • Read from the oche: the score you need is the biggest thing on screen, and the screen stays awake.

What we built

  • A Bluetooth connection that reads each throw from a GRANBOARD and places it on the right segment.
  • Game rules for 01, Cricket, and each drill, kept separate from the screens and covered by tests.
  • Storage of every dart thrown, so stats come from the throws themselves.
  • History synced through the player's own private iCloud account, with no account or sign-up of ours.
  • A manual entry pad for bounce-outs, missed darts, and playing without a board.

FHWebCheck keeps an eye on the websites you care about from your iPhone. A focused list shows each site's status and when it was last checked, and a detail screen explains the result behind it. It checks when you open the app and in the background as iOS allows, and it can notify you when a site goes down or comes back. Everything stays on your phone; there is no account or server.

What it does

  • See everything at a glance: monitored sites, last check time, and whether each is online, showing a warning, or offline.
  • Act quickly: open details, run a fresh check, review history, copy the URL, edit the entry, or open the site in Safari.

FHCams is for owners and operators who watch cameras across more than one property. It brings different camera makes, models, and ages into one interface, grouped by property, so you can scan locations quickly instead of switching between tools. FHNetworkMap scans your local Wi-Fi network, finds the devices on it, and lays them out as a map around your router. It recognizes routers, phones, computers, printers, storage drives, TVs, cameras, and smart-home gear, and keeps a searchable list alongside the map. You can name, group, and edit devices, and get alerts when something new joins or an important device stops responding. Your map syncs through your own iCloud account.

What it does

  • See the network visually: devices arranged around the router, and you can drag them where you want.
  • Search every device: names, IP addresses, vendors, groups, and when each was last seen.
  • Control scans and alerts: tune auto-scan, timeouts, offline thresholds, and port-scan defaults.
  • Keep the map current: rename devices, assign groups, change icons, attach photos, and send Wake-on-LAN.
  • Take it with you: a Home Screen widget, plus export and import of a network snapshot.

What we built

  • A scanner that finds devices using several kinds of network probes, since iOS has no single built-in way to list them.
  • Device-type detection from each device's name, open ports, and the services it advertises.
  • A separate saved map for each network, named automatically from the Wi-Fi name.
  • Sync of maps and device photos through the user's own iCloud, with no server of ours.
  • Local alerts for new devices and for devices marked as critical.
  • A Home Screen widget showing active and total devices.

FHBuildingSearch is for people who buy, broker, or lease commercial and industrial buildings. It gathers listings, auctions, and public parcel records from across Wisconsin into one map and list, so a search that normally means a dozen county websites happens in one place. Each property carries its own history, so you can see when the price moved or when it came back on the market, and the investment math is built in rather than waiting in a spreadsheet.

What it does

  • Search a map or a list: filter by price, size, and sale type, search around where you are, and switch between the map and a list of the same results.
  • See what sits underneath: flood zones, opportunity zones, and neighborhood income shown as layers on the map.
  • Judge a property quickly: a deal score with its reasoning shown next to it, a price history, and a plain-language summary.
  • Run the numbers: cap rate, net operating income, cash-on-cash, debt coverage, and return calculators, with properties compared side by side and exported as a PDF.
  • Hear about it first: save a search and get an email or a push alert when something matches, and get a nudge when you drive near a property you saved.

What we built

  • A native SwiftUI app for iPhone with map, list, favorites, comparison, and off-market screens.
  • A cloud service that scans county, city, and federal sources on a schedule and merges what it finds into one record per property.
  • Change detection that keeps a history for each property and fires saved-search alerts by email and push.
  • Map layers drawn from public flood, opportunity-zone, and census data, with a price heat map over them.
  • Sign in with Apple, synced favorites and saved searches, and account deletion from inside the app.
