FH Development Studio explains data practices in plain language and aims to collect only what is reasonably needed to operate products, respond to requests, and support users responsibly.

Overview

This policy applies to FH Development Studio websites and applications unless a product includes a separate, product-specific privacy notice that explains different data practices.

Privacy Approach

FH Development Studio is built around practical software, minimal collection, and straightforward communication. Where possible, products are designed to work with limited data handling and without unnecessary third-party services, advertising technology, or invasive tracking.

Information You Share With Us

If you contact FH Development Studio by email or through the inquiry form, we may receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, company name, project details, screenshots, device context, and support notes. That information is used only to respond to your inquiry, provide support, or evaluate a potential engagement.

Data Collection

FH Development Studio is designed around minimal data handling. Unless explicitly stated within a product, we do not collect personal information on company-operated external servers beyond what is necessary to support communication, product function, or service continuity.

How Information Is Used

Information shared through support or project inquiries may be used to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, improve product behavior, and communicate about requested services. FH Development Studio does not sell personal information and does not use support inquiries as a source for unrelated marketing outreach.

Legal and Operational Basis

When information is provided directly by a user, it is processed only as needed to respond to that request, provide support, maintain service continuity, or communicate about a requested business inquiry.

FHWebCheck

FHWebCheck stores website URLs entered by the user locally on the device to provide the app's functionality. The app is intended to operate without sending that user-managed monitoring list to company-operated servers, which helps keep the product lightweight and privacy-conscious by default.

FHCams

FHCams is designed to present camera feeds through a cleaner interface while working with a range of camera makes, models, and installation ages. Support requests may include camera names, property labels, screenshots, app settings, and device context when a user chooses to share that information for troubleshooting. That information is used only to investigate the issue, improve product quality, or respond to the request.

FHNetworkMap

FHNetworkMap is designed to help users discover, organize, and review devices on their local network. Device names, local IP addresses, vendor labels, groups, alert preferences, and map settings may be stored on the device so the app can render the network map, device list, and related controls. If a user requests support, they may choose to share screenshots, exported JSON data, device labels, local network details, or settings context for troubleshooting. That information is used only to investigate the issue, respond to the request, or improve product quality.

FHShot

FHShot is a Mac menu bar utility that captures the full screen, a selected area, or a single window and saves each screenshot as a PNG file in a folder the user chooses. Screenshots and the chosen folder location are stored only on the user's Mac. FHShot has no account, collects no analytics or usage data, and runs in the macOS App Sandbox without network access, so it cannot transmit screenshots or any other information. FHShot also stores a small amount of information on the device so the app can work the way the user set it up: the file paths of the few most recent screenshots, so they can be shown as thumbnails and reopened; any keyboard shortcuts the user assigns; and the user's preferences, such as whether each capture is also copied to the clipboard and whether a short delay is used. When copying to the clipboard is turned on, the screenshot is placed on the user's own Mac clipboard, where it remains available to other apps on that Mac until the clipboard is replaced. macOS asks the user to grant Screen Recording permission before capture works; that permission is managed by macOS and can be revoked at any time in System Settings. If a user requests support, they may choose to share screenshots or settings context for troubleshooting, and that information is used only to investigate the issue or respond to the request.

FHDarts

FHDarts scores darts thrown at a Bluetooth dartboard and keeps a record of the user's games, players, and statistics. The app connects to the dartboard over Bluetooth only to receive which segment each dart struck; that connection carries no personal information and nothing is sent back out through it. Player names, match history, individual throws, and practice results are stored on the device. If the user is signed in to iCloud, this history is also synced through Apple's CloudKit into the user's own private iCloud database so it is available on their other devices and survives a reinstall. FH Development Studio cannot see or access that private iCloud data, and it is never sent to company-operated servers. Signing out of iCloud stops syncing without deleting anything on the device. FHDarts has no account or sign-up, collects no analytics or usage data, and contains no advertising or tracking. The optional spoken score caller uses on-device speech and does not use the microphone. If a user requests support, they may choose to share screenshots or game details for troubleshooting, and that information is used only to investigate the issue or respond to the request.

Mydeas

Mydeas is a note-taking app and web service that requires an account. Creating one with an email address stores that address, a display name, and a hashed password; signing in with Apple or Google instead stores a provider identifier and, when the provider supplies them, a name and email address. The service stores what the user puts into it: notes, notebooks, tags, comments, tasks, attachments such as photos, videos, audio files, and PDFs, an optional profile photo, files imported from Evernote or Notion, and the text of any feedback sent from inside the app. Mydeas collects no product-usage analytics, carries no advertising or advertising identifier, and does not ask for location. Since September 24, 2026 it sends crash and error reports to Sentry; those reports carry no user identity, no IP address, no screenshots, and no session replay. Other companies process data on Mydeas's behalf in specific places: Stripe for billing on the web, AWS Textract to read text out of attached images when the account's own scan-text setting is turned on (off by default for accounts created since September 24, 2026), Anthropic for AI actions, which run only when the user turns them on and send only the text of the note being acted on, Apple and Google for sign-in, and Sentry for error reports. Notes are stored on servers FH Development Studio operates, and the app keeps a local copy on the device so notes work offline; the note content in that local copy is encrypted on the device. Data is encrypted in transit. Note content is not end-to-end encrypted: it is stored in a form the service can read so that sync, search, sharing, and version history work, which means a small number of people operating the servers could technically access it. A user can delete their account from the app or the website, export any single note as Markdown or HTML, and export the whole account as a ZIP file containing every note, its attachments, and a manifest. BarCrawl

BarCrawl is a bar discovery and review app that requires an account. An account stores an email address, a display name, a date of birth, and sign-in credentials, or a provider identifier when the user signs in with Apple or Google; a profile photo is optional. The date of birth exists to enforce a 21-and-over age gate. The app uses device location while it is in use to show nearby bars. Raw coordinates are never stored. Only a coarse resolved area, such as a city or metro, is kept, and only with consent through a "Remember my area" setting in the app; turning that setting off deletes the stored area. BarCrawl stores content the user creates: ratings, reviews, photos, direct messages, friend activity, and bar survey responses. Every uploaded photo is re-encoded before storage, which removes the metadata a camera writes into the file, including GPS coordinates. The service also records device and push notification identifiers, and keeps its own record of screen views, sessions, sign-ups, sign-ins, account deletions, and security events, tied to the account while the user is signed in. Those records are not used to build advertising profiles and are not sold. BarCrawl shows ads from bars and other advertisers. Ads are targeted on the resolved area only, never on precise location, and each campaign is capped at a set number of views per person per day. An ad click is stored with the account identifier for up to 90 days. Other companies process data on BarCrawl's behalf: Google Maps and Google Places for maps and bar information, Apple and Google for sign-in, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Resend for transactional email, Stripe for payments on bar and business subscriptions only (never for individual app users), Branch for referral links and install attribution, Sentry for error monitoring, and Cloudflare for delivering the website and API. Data is stored on servers FH Development Studio operates. A user can delete their account from Settings in the app, and can request a copy of their data as a JSON file; verified requests are answered within 45 days. FHWordGuess

FHWordGuess is a word game with no account and no sign-up. It shows no ads, contains no tracking or analytics, and includes no third-party software kits of any kind. Game history, statistics, and settings are stored on the device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If the player is signed in to iCloud, that same history is also synced through Apple's CloudKit into the player's own private iCloud database, so it is available on their other devices and survives a reinstall. FH Development Studio cannot see or access that private iCloud data, and it is never sent to company-operated servers. If iCloud is unavailable — no iCloud account signed in, or iCloud turned off for the app — the game stores everything only on the device and keeps working; nothing already on the device is deleted. Deleting the app removes the copy on the device. If a user requests support, they may choose to share screenshots or game details for troubleshooting, and that information is used only to investigate the issue or respond to the request.

TableHop

TableHop is a restaurant discovery app that requires an account. An account stores an email address, a display name, a date of birth, and sign-in credentials, or a provider identifier when the user signs in with Apple or Google; a profile photo is optional. The app uses device location while it is in use to show nearby restaurants, and does not track location in the background. Raw coordinates are never stored. Midwest Operations

Midwest Operations is a client project. FH Development Studio built and maintains it on behalf of Midwest Equipment Dock and Lift Services, LLC, and it runs on servers operated for that company. It is a staff-only office web app and field app with no public sign-up. It holds that company's own business records: client contact and project details, job and equipment records, technician notes, job photos, staff scheduling and time tracking, and leads submitted through the company's website. The field app asks for device location while it is in use so a technician can find the nearest assigned job and open directions to it. The system connects to Google Maps for geocoding and maps, Google Calendar and Google Sheets for scheduling and record sync, Gmail for the company's office inbox, and Facebook for publishing posts from the company's page. Midwest Equipment Dock and Lift Services, LLC is responsible for its own customer data and decides how that data is used. Hospitality Intelligence Radar

Hospitality Intelligence Radar is a private business tool operated by FH Development Studio, LLC. It has no public sign-up; an invited list of people may sign in with Google, Apple, or a local account. For those users it stores the email address and name they sign in with, their role, and a log of sign-ins and of actions taken inside the tool so the work can be audited. Those usage records are deleted after 180 days. The tool uses no third-party analytics and shows no advertising, and it does not use location, contacts, photos, or an advertising identifier. The subject matter of the tool is business information about hotel companies and the people who run them: names, job titles, business email addresses, and the public pages that information was read from. Each value is stored alongside its source. The tool is used for research and for preparing lists; it does not send messages. Anyone listed can ask to be removed or suppressed, and a suppression is permanent. Other companies process data on the tool's behalf: Anthropic, whose service reads fetched public pages and proposes findings that are then re-checked against the source; Apple for push notifications and sign-in; Google for sign-in; and Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services for hosting and delivery. Data is held on a server in the United States and in encrypted backups of that server. The iPhone app stores a sign-in token in the device keychain and nothing else, and push notifications carry a count and a change, never a person's name. Third-Party Services

This varies by product, so check the section for the app you are using. The utility apps — FHWebCheck, FHCams, FHNetworkMap, FHShot, FHDarts, and FHWordGuess — use no third-party services at all; FHDarts and FHWordGuess sync through the user's own iCloud account, which is Apple's service and not a third party FH Development Studio sends data to. Mydeas and BarCrawl do use outside companies, named in their sections above, for things like billing, sign-in, push notifications, email delivery, maps, and error reporting. BarCrawl also shows ads, targeted on a coarse resolved area rather than precise location. No FH Development Studio product sells personal information or shares it with data brokers. If a product adds an outside service, this policy and that product's own policy should be updated to say what data is involved and why.

Website and Hosting Considerations

Like most websites, basic technical information such as browser type, device type, referrer details, or server request data may be processed by the hosting platform or infrastructure providers to keep the site available and secure. FH Development Studio may also record page-view events and form submissions needed to understand demand, route inquiries, and improve support response quality. FH Development Studio does not use this site as a vehicle for invasive tracking, advertising-based profiling, or unnecessary background collection.

Third-Party Infrastructure

Website hosting, DNS, content delivery, email delivery, and related infrastructure may involve established third-party providers. Those providers may process limited technical data required to deliver and secure the service, subject to their own operational policies.

Data Security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect business communications and support information, but no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure in every circumstance. Sensitive information should not be sent through public forms unless it is necessary for support.

User Control

What a user can do depends on how the product stores data, so check the section for the app you are using. In the apps with no account — FHWebCheck, FHCams, FHNetworkMap, FHShot, FHDarts, and FHWordGuess — the data lives on the device, can be edited or removed inside the app, and is removed when the app is deleted, subject to device behavior, operating system settings, and backup configuration. FHDarts and FHWordGuess also sync to the user's own private iCloud database. That copy belongs to the user's Apple account, not to FH Development Studio; signing out of iCloud or turning iCloud off for the app stops syncing, and the iCloud copy is managed through the user's own Apple account settings. In the apps with an account — Mydeas and BarCrawl — a user can update their profile, export a copy of their data, and delete the account from inside the app. Deleting the account removes the records tied to it, and each product's own policy sets out exactly what is removed and how long a request takes.

Data Retention

Support emails and inquiry messages may be retained for a reasonable period to maintain support continuity, document prior decisions, and respond to follow-up requests. Website inquiry records and support submissions may also be retained in the FH Development Studio admin workspace for operational continuity. Information is not kept longer than reasonably needed for those purposes.

Children's Privacy

FH Development Studio services are not intentionally directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website or our general support channels.
